It's that time of year

When Christmas song have been playing since mid-November you can't take it anymore and you just wanna punch someone (preferable a Santa at the mall) right in the face for being so damn 'jolly' oh the holidays~

Well I thought instead of drumming up a punch of Christmas eye-candy {I think I did that last year so if you didn't see it then go look for it it's awesome [because I'm to lazy to go look for it and post it hear (thats also the reason i don't feel like looking for a bunch of seasonal sexy Sants's and what not and post them here)]}  Go to the bottom of the post for  picspam xP
I was unlazy enough to go look for some Christmas(y) songs for you to hear so that we have less punched out Santa's running around punching little kids because they're so mad and hate their jobs and just got punched in the face by a stranger.

Okay back to the main point, I'm back! Well, I've always been here Ive just been more busy than I expected to be with graduation, looking for a job, my dog dying :(, and I've acctually been having a sosial life! To be honest I haven't been keeping up with anything blogs/translations, blogs/news so I'm surprised I've found the time to get off my lazy ass and post this! But I wanted to get a quick post in that I have been putting off so quickly lets run down some news and junk

Now in news kinds related to me. I found out this morning when I woke up that I'm a runner-up for H!SU flickr contest and I got a $5 gift card!!! :D

Now in kpop related to me news the Wonder Girls tour! They posted more tour dates for the second leg of the tour that won't open with 2pm but will have a few opening with 2am one of the places they will be (probably by themselves not with oneday) is in Orlando Fl THATS ONE HOUR FROM WHERE I LIVE!!!! Now I've hoped and dreamed for a while but never did I think an Asian group that I loved would come to Florida for a concert thus I am not passing up this opportunity I haven't bought my ticket yet but thats because im still working something out with a friend but I will be purchasing them very shortly so let me know if you go!!!!

Melon's Not Not Dead

That's not a typo I meant to put the double negative...

I woke up this afternoon morning I reached for my ipod and scanned thru tweets to find

(so it didn't look exactly like this but you get the gist)

I'm sure everyone had heard the news by now.
Melon Kinenbi, who just celebrated their decade long tenure, has decided to disband after 10 years of awesomeness. They have come a long way and have accomplished so much from releasing a collaboration album to being the longest reining H!P group to go without a member change.

I am quite sad because I always liked Melon & thought they deserved much more attention & fans than they had while under H!P. That's why I was pleased that they after graduating they stayed active (unlike the majority of the elder club). They could now blossom not under the control of tsunku and his umm reatardedness. They were the 'rock' group under hp but could only take their 'rockness' so far being under hp. Doing 5 awesome collaborations and releasing their new album, ironically titled MELON'S NOT DEAD, no one could have suspected the inevitable. Which takes us to the title of their new album. There is only one thing I have to say about: WTF WHO CAME UP WITH THE TITLE I'M GOING TO PUNCH THEM. Yeah...expect more blog titles to surface refering to their album because it's just too freaking ironic to not use.

I was going to rank their 5 colab singles at some point so I guess now is as appropriate as it's gunna get. So, without further ado, my ranking of Melon's 5 colab singles from least to most favorite.

5. Sweet Summer Suicide Story



This PV was just released the other day and I must say after watching it I like the song more. Out of all the song this one is the only one I dislike mostly because the music/instrumental seems a bit jumbled. I can't hate it too much tho since I know nothing about music but the pv has probably bumped it up from ☆☆ to ☆☆☆
Ranking numbers 2-4 is where it gets hard difficult.

4. Seishun on the Road



This is a really nice calming song that I listen to often. To me it's watered down version of Melon when compared to the other 4 singles. I prefer my Melon to be more hardcore and energetic.

3. Melon Tea



It's quite catchy and the pv is a good change from the live performances. It's got a good melon feeling, and not just because of the title, it has that perfect balance of rock and pop you expect from Melon.

2. Don't Say Goodbye



This was the first single they released since graduating and I really liked it. It had that melon feeling that everyone remembered but still managed to have the essence of a new indie group. While it may not be the most energetic song it's still refreshing.

1. Pinch ha Chance Bakani Naro Uze



C-H-A-N-C-E DAKEDA CHANCE! This song easily slides into the #1 spot. It has the heavy drums and bass you expect from rock but has very happy energetic lyrics. I may not know they English translation of the lyrics, but it is sung and preformed with such energy spirit. I love this song and while I haven't listened to every melon single, this is by far my favorite ever.

I switch back & forth a lot between different types of music...

So Momusu came out with their new single and video; here's the HQ video:



While it is definitely a step up from their usual dance-shot close-up routine, I've found a few songs I enjoy more just because they are so catchy & they make me want to dance. Oh, and because I'm a girl the lyrics are freaking amazing too me.

BoA is awesome and she has a US debut this song makes me want to dance and makes me jealous I can't dance like she can.



My only complaint about the video is it gets a bit graphic heavy towards the end. I really like when the door & the glass explode, but when the guys glasses & the clock break its just crappy unnecessary graphics.

SM also released another version which makes the graphics the first video colossal. I live all the different views and close-ups but the at times the green screen version looks like something you'd see in a fan vid.

So a 8 & 6 year old can get a second album but Icecream musume get one then disappear of the face of the earth? I'm not bashing Frances & Aiko aka Big Missy, their freaking adorable but their so young and they can't sing or dance. I really want ICM to come back Pei Pei is the only one that has manage to not disappear as she made a blog somewhere else but still.

2 new songs have caught my attention and they are neither Japanese or Korean!

First: Chinese

I don't normally listen to Chinese (the only Chinese I've listened to would be Ice creamusume :P)

I found this when I was looking for videos of the "jyp sisters" and they did a cover of this song which i thought was awesome and had to find it.

My friend and I were driving to class and she told me to listen to this song and I am now in love with it. First thing that came to my mind was of the beat type whateveryouwantocallit is like from a children's or circus song I can't think of exactly where it's from so if you know PLEASE TELL ME. Second I don't care is she auto tuned the shit out of it because it's awesome.

Morning Musume's profile pictures have been updated. The dresses are cute but the lineup is typical.

While Buono's profile picture on the HP website hasn't been pdated [I mean come on would it kill them to update it the girls individual pictures are from co no mi chi!] finally Buono's HP profile has been updated! the official Buono site has been updated and I must say I really like the girls look for their new album.

okay so she is still in C-ute but "C-ute's new song" is an Airi solo; with all five girls singing the chorus and each get one solo line word. I really wish they would have given the other girls more because the song is really cool and the PV and costumes are one of the best I've seen.

First! Two exams down and two to go, then I will be blogging like crazy.

Third! I am get overwhelmingly happy every time I look at my flagcounter. In just 2 weeks this blog has been viewed over 460 times by 35 people from 5 different countries!?! Even though 30 are from the USA (wah awsometastic) i never expected many people to view my blog since there are so many 'famous' blogging wotas [just look at my blogroll] to see that people from other countries is awesome - yay Mexico & Canada, sweetness Singapore, and holy crap Poland! Even though one person from an entire country that briefly glanced, it makes me feel special (corny and pathetic i know). [:

so this has nothing to do with music or cosplay but my sister and I decided to pull an all nighter and see what people do on Black friday & we're goin to Target at 5 am. If you havent seen the hilarious commercials for target with the crazy lady watch them now.
