Uwah~ I've been filled with content recently as I am finally breaking out my little wota shell and being noticed. I guess you could say I'm the kind of person who take pride even in the smallest victories. Now you may be saying wtf is she talking about get the H!P crap already and I would reply with go punch yourself in the face (For some reason I've been saying that alot lately)

First off when I wake up in the morning I turn on my ipod open up echofon and scan thru the hundred some tweets. But what really makes me smile is seeing that some one replied to me. With college I haven't gotten out much so any kind of social interaction brightens my day. (have I scared you yet?)

So my first thanks go to all of those who follow and talk to me on twitter: chibilolli, Lord_jagganath, justd3, TakeoRey, & DarkhandGuy

Now you may have noticed (ok let's be honest you probably haven't) that I put a new thing on my side bar at the very top BlogBuddies. These are the awesometastical (did anyone else read that & think testicle?) people who follow my blog & put me on their blogroll. Now I have a separate blogroll but that's for all the blog I follow. So yeah I must thank Lolli, TerryXX, & faiiy MINASAN DISUKI!

Last but not least (is anyone still actually reading this? I didn't intend to type so much) it isn't so much as thanks for talking to me and giving me some wota love as is it HOLY CRAP I'M ON INTERNATIONAL WOTA! I was doing my nightly routine of checking blogs & tweets and I saw IW tweeted about the new post about Melon Kinenbi. No lie, my first thought was "I bet they don't have my post on there" then I clicked the link and scrolled down and saw this

Then my first thought was "UWAH YATTA~" (yes I sometimes yell out random Japanese words and scare the crap out of my family)But it actually made me quite happy as I have only had this blog for a few months, I don't always post frequent update stuff, and my post are lacking in actual news and personality so yeah I now have incentive to step it up a notch ^_^ So actually to have to thank maize for putting me up there ARIGOTO GOZIMASTA MAIZE-SAN!

NOW if you made it all the way to the end give yourself a round of applause...*cricket sound*...well thank you mister cricket for reading my blog {gomen~ but I'm not holding anything back now if it pops into my head I'm typing it} Well mister cricket I am going to reward you with a PICSPAM tomorrow. Sorry for getting your hopes up I know I haven't done a picspam in a while but I really need some sleep. I've had really bad abdominal cramps for last 10 minutes but I really wanted to type this and it out there. I have been overwhelmed with school and the economy and crap but when I watch hp & I talk to all of you guys it really releives my stress. Nothing can express my gratitude to all of you and also to those have looked at my blog that I haven't talked to SO MANY COUNTRIES!

So I end here with a picspam update to come in a day or two. I'll also try to fix the billion grammar errors, typos, and butchard Japanese that are probably in here but my eyes can't stay open for much longer.

First Impressions

My 10 first impressions of 10 my me

Let me put in perspective to those who don't get it

My first impression of this picture was:

*DOKIDOKI* *HEART ATTACK*

Then I saw this picture a few days later and thought:

WHAAAAAA??? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I don't mind gaki's short hair as long as it looks adorable and isn't paired with jewelry that Lady Gaga would wear!

Melon's Not Not Dead

That's not a typo I meant to put the double negative...

I woke up this afternoon morning I reached for my ipod and scanned thru tweets to find

(so it didn't look exactly like this but you get the gist)

I'm sure everyone had heard the news by now.
Melon Kinenbi, who just celebrated their decade long tenure, has decided to disband after 10 years of awesomeness. They have come a long way and have accomplished so much from releasing a collaboration album to being the longest reining H!P group to go without a member change.

I am quite sad because I always liked Melon & thought they deserved much more attention & fans than they had while under H!P. That's why I was pleased that they after graduating they stayed active (unlike the majority of the elder club). They could now blossom not under the control of tsunku and his umm reatardedness. They were the 'rock' group under hp but could only take their 'rockness' so far being under hp. Doing 5 awesome collaborations and releasing their new album, ironically titled MELON'S NOT DEAD, no one could have suspected the inevitable. Which takes us to the title of their new album. There is only one thing I have to say about: WTF WHO CAME UP WITH THE TITLE I'M GOING TO PUNCH THEM. Yeah...expect more blog titles to surface refering to their album because it's just too freaking ironic to not use.

I was going to rank their 5 colab singles at some point so I guess now is as appropriate as it's gunna get. So, without further ado, my ranking of Melon's 5 colab singles from least to most favorite.

5. Sweet Summer Suicide Story



This PV was just released the other day and I must say after watching it I like the song more. Out of all the song this one is the only one I dislike mostly because the music/instrumental seems a bit jumbled. I can't hate it too much tho since I know nothing about music but the pv has probably bumped it up from ☆☆ to ☆☆☆
Ranking numbers 2-4 is where it gets hard difficult.

4. Seishun on the Road



This is a really nice calming song that I listen to often. To me it's watered down version of Melon when compared to the other 4 singles. I prefer my Melon to be more hardcore and energetic.

3. Melon Tea



It's quite catchy and the pv is a good change from the live performances. It's got a good melon feeling, and not just because of the title, it has that perfect balance of rock and pop you expect from Melon.

2. Don't Say Goodbye



This was the first single they released since graduating and I really liked it. It had that melon feeling that everyone remembered but still managed to have the essence of a new indie group. While it may not be the most energetic song it's still refreshing.

1. Pinch ha Chance Bakani Naro Uze



C-H-A-N-C-E DAKEDA CHANCE! This song easily slides into the #1 spot. It has the heavy drums and bass you expect from rock but has very happy energetic lyrics. I may not know they English translation of the lyrics, but it is sung and preformed with such energy spirit. I love this song and while I haven't listened to every melon single, this is by far my favorite ever.

Hairband ☆

I've reaaaaally wanted to blog ☆

but now that I've started, I've got some concerns...
it feels like there's some kind of pressure now...

Anyways
I've upped a pic I took of myself (which I'm good at doing?)

I love hair accessories and hairbands, I have a ton of them
Lately I've been using hairbands made out of real hair O(≧∇≦)o

But adding this on ups my fashion style way up ↑↑

My cuteness as well...(>_<) By the way, I sport braids quite often, but I can't actually do them myself (;_ So that's why lately I've been using these hairbands they are such a lifesaver

I switch back & forth a lot between different types of music...

So Momusu came out with their new single and video; here's the HQ video:



While it is definitely a step up from their usual dance-shot close-up routine, I've found a few songs I enjoy more just because they are so catchy & they make me want to dance. Oh, and because I'm a girl the lyrics are freaking amazing too me.

BoA is awesome and she has a US debut this song makes me want to dance and makes me jealous I can't dance like she can.



My only complaint about the video is it gets a bit graphic heavy towards the end. I really like when the door & the glass explode, but when the guys glasses & the clock break its just crappy unnecessary graphics.

SM also released another version which makes the graphics the first video colossal. I live all the different views and close-ups but the at times the green screen version looks like something you'd see in a fan vid.

So a 8 & 6 year old can get a second album but Icecream musume get one then disappear of the face of the earth? I'm not bashing Frances & Aiko aka Big Missy, their freaking adorable but their so young and they can't sing or dance. I really want ICM to come back Pei Pei is the only one that has manage to not disappear as she made a blog somewhere else but still.
